So usually I wouldn’t post pictures that are from another season, but I thought that these photographs just shouldn’t go to waste. Even though it’s still pre fall, summer seems to end any time now and we will feel the well known chilliness and smell of fallen leaves. Honestly I think that fall already started here in Edinburgh… I’m living on a north pole if you ask me.
Skincare and beauty for me is like a whole other passion. It started way back when I was a teenager, probably when I was around 13 years old that I became more aware of products I put on me. Back then I didn’t really realise what I should look for in order to help my problematic skin.
How to feel as if you’re in Italy in your hometown? It’s summer, so the weather is settled. What about everything else? Well, all you need is to sit in an outdoor cafe, ask the waiter with the most tacky italian accent while gesticulating too much: Io prendo la torta e caffè. Don’t worry if the waiter looks at you like you’re completely insane. Play ‘Dolce Vita’ by Ryan Paris on your headphones and say a loud and dragged grazie! to the waiter as he/she is putting your cappuccino and a little cake on the table. Sip on the foam in order to have the true italian cappuccino-foam-mustache.
I remember when I first saw the movie by Sofia Coppola; “Lost In Translation”, with polish subtitles on a car ride. The limiting circumstances didn’t stop me to completely fall in love with this cinema, its atmosphere, music and Tokyo it’s set in. I’ve always been fascinated with asian culture, especially chinese and japanese, but I think this film triggered my strong passion to travel there as soon as possible. Boy, was it worth it.
