While in the country of a blooming cherry, we visited Nara, Japan’s first capital city. It is very buddhism oriented. I instantly fell in love with this place: with its beautiful temples, one of the biggest statue of Buddha, parks and of course… the deers!

When we saw all the deers feeling completely comfortable with people approaching them, we felt like in some kind of a fairytale. Before that, I saw a deer only once or twice in my life, when they were hiding in the forest near highway. So seeing them all at once in such a peaceful state was a marvelous experience.

I felt as If I was in a Disney movie, so we decided to take some photos with those lovely creatures. I wanted that really fantasy, Annie Leibovitz kind of atmosphere of the photoshoot. I mean c’mon, it’s Snow White all over again. Everything fits: me being extremely pale, surrounded by forest animals and… the culottes looking a bit like a dress. Enjoy!
